About Read Together ATL
Read Together ATL seeks to bolster literacy and improve reading outcomes for at-risk students through a one-on-one tutoring learned word program.
What does volunteering look like?
● We utilize a simple and effective sight word program, so no individual prep work will be necessary to volunteer.
● We provide the required training before the school year, and we supply the materials needed to work with students.
● Our tutoring sessions take place on site during the school day.
● Volunteers will be placed with the same student throughout the school year. We seek to foster genuine relationships and trust with students, so we ask our volunteers to commit to one school year of tutoring.
